I have noticed that, if you still have clothes from the desired weight that you are trying to get back down to, it serves as a wonderful "touchable" goal. I say touchable since you can touch it and grab it and of course try it on! And I recommend trying on your old clothes at least once a month to see where you are with your goal.
I personally have kept a few pair of jeans (sizes 7,9, and 11) and a few shirts (M and 2 S) and I have tried these clothes on at least once a month to see if I am even making head way on my goal. Granted I weigh myself and I have lost 23.5 lbs so far towards my drop 75 lbs goal, but I try on these clothes to help me see where I am losing the weight.
From this time last year, I have cut my waistline in half from a size 18 to a size 9/11. And I can wear certain medium shirts, depending on how long they are and how I feel they fit.
One thing I have also been doing is reading a book called, "Drop 5" by Good Housekeeping. It teaches you how to not cut the foods you love out of your diet but limit how much you eat them and how often. I have only changed the amount of food I eat and when and how much I intake of my favorite not so healthy foods.
Also, on a work out basic I have been using the Gold's Gym resistance bands with door anchor. My set works on toning and trimming. It focuses on arms, core, back, chest, glutes, and legs. So basically it covers everything. I do a two hour workout session a day. And I will say this much, if you feel the burn the next day don't worry it's normal.
Well everyone, I am off to do some more Avon selling and playing with my wonderful daughter. Have a wonderful day everyone!
